Who We Are
Selmaria started with one problem: British autumn and winter clothes are usually a trade-off. Either you're warm and you look like you gave up, or you look good and you're cold by the bus stop. We wanted a middle ground - clothes you can actually live in from October through to March, that still feel put together on a grey Tuesday.
That's the whole idea behind the shop. Jumpers, cardigans, coats and midi dresses built for layering, not for one photo and a wardrobe corner.
How We Choose What We Sell
We lean hard into knitwear and layers. A good jumper does more work than ten trend pieces - it goes under a coat in November, on its own in April, and it still looks right the third time you wear it that week.
We're not chasing what's trending this month. We'd rather stock a cardigan you'll wear for three winters than something that's out of fashion by Christmas. Cosy, easy to mix and match, and cut in a way that works for real bodies, not just the model shot.
Sizes run UK 6 to 18, because "cosy and put-together" should fit more than one body shape.
